Everybody loves something that's free. I've been discovering this is especially true for books. For the past two days, I made the Kindle version of Therapy for Ghosts free through Amazon. Through the Kindle Direct Publishing Select service, authors can make their book free for any five days during a 90-day period. Pretty amazing marketing and networking tool to reach new readers! I was hoping for 20-30 downloads during the two-day period. 5,390 downloads later, I'm pleasantly floored that so many people selected the book as something they'd want to read. The book began climbing the Amazon rankings, reaching as high as #3 in the Suspense category and as high as #50 in the top 100 of all free Kindle ebooks worldwide! Free is fun, and this has been a lot of fun indeed!
