On Saturdays in the Fall, you can find me watching college football. March Madness is an obsession of mine. I'm a die-hard University of Michigan fan. Go Blue! I was raised in Cleveland, OH, so I root for all the Cleveland sports teams.

I live in Springfield, MO, with my wife, Stephanie. I love spending time with family and friends, including cookouts and game nights. I consume large amounts of food and laughter. Both keep me alive.
My nonfiction writing focuses on Christian living. I'm interested in how faith practically applies to our daily lives. I've seen God work in my life and the lives of others in profound ways, and I have a passion for encouraging others to grow deeper in their walk with God.
My fiction writing is mostly suspenseful in nature. It often involves psychological elements. I'm fascinated by what makes us who we are and how that complexity works itself into our relationships. This thread weaves itself into my stories, most of which are set in Missouri.
