This week celebrates the third year anniversary of my first novel, Therapy for Ghosts. These past three years have been amazing, and I’m grateful for the many friends I’ve made. I never thought I’d be able to connect with so many generous and passionate authors and readers. You all are truly a gift.
Just for fun, and because my wife will attest to the fact that I’m a number-crunching nerd, here are some stats from my three-year period as an author so far:
Number of books sold: 23,303
Number of website views: 71,331
Number of words written: approximately 750,000
Number of books written: 6
Number of books published: 5
Number of pizza slices consumed: unable to calculate
Number of story idea Post-It notes compiled: the calculator self-destructed while trying to add them all
Number of times I missed a turn while driving because of thinking of a story idea: nearly every day (cue wife rolling eyes)
Number of days it is worth being a writer: Every. Single. One.
