There's something delightful about short stories. Mainly, they're short. You can finish one in the fraction of the time it takes to complete a novel, but the same goes true for readers--they can read it at warp speed. So, at 13 pages, "The Furrowed Brow" is certainly no War and Peace, but for what it's worth, I hope you enjoy it.
Ten years ago in a creative writing class, I penned a short story entitled "The Furrowed Brow." For the next ten years, it languished on my computer, waiting for someone else besides me and a few close friends to read it. Now it's available for the world to read. Dear Amazon, I love you. I'm so glad we're friends.

It's official, Sleepwalking into Darkness, the sequel to Therapy for Ghosts, is available now! The wild world of the James women gets even more twisted. Enjoy the ride! Watch for the third and final book in the James women trilogy to come out sometime in Fall 2013, but, for now, have fun doing some sleepwalking... I've been on a blog hiatus for a little while. During that time, I've been sleepwalking. Well, my characters have been sleepwalking...into the sequel to Therapy for Ghosts, entitled Sleepwalking into Darkness. Sleepwalking into Darkness continues the story of Cindy James and her search for answers about her family's past. Throw in a little mystery, some clues, some Big Mac-sized family drama, and you have quite a wild ride. Sleepwalking into Darkness will be released later this month, and the third and final book in the trilogy of the James women will be released sometime in Fall 2013. Here's to a little sleepwalking fun!
